The purpose of the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007 is to protect migrants and enable you to receive accurate, ethical advice from licensed professionals. A licensed immigration adviser must abide by an established Code of Conduct, which covers: written agreements, confidentiality, client funds, disputes and all other important matters pertaining to you as the client.
From 1 October 2019, visitors from visa-waiver countries must request an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) prior to coming to New Zealand. You may also have to pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL). For more information on the ETA and IVL, visit Immigration New Zealand.
You will only need to apply for a visitor visa if you are not from a visa waiver country. Please refer to the Immigration New Zealand website for more information.
